Decanus et Facultas Sacrae Theologiae almae Universitatis Parisiensis, omnibus, ad quos praesens scriptum pervenerit, salutem in eo qui est vera Salus.

Sacrae:

The name is derived from the Latin (os) sacrum, (sacer, sacra, sacrum, "sacred"), a translation of the Greek hieron (osteon), meaning sacred or strong bone. Since the sacrum is the seat of the organs of procreation, animal sacrums were offered in sacrifices.

A faculty is a licence to carry out work. Any work carried out in the absence of a faculty is illegal.

It covers all parish churches and those licensed for public worship, that is to say all repairs, alterations or extension to a church building or changes to its contents or churchyard.
