Project X – “Euphoria Wings” – Development History

Just for information guys we are hoping to open our Virtual Airline in the next few months.
We have many things to do:

1. Decide on a name that hasn’t been used elsewhere.
2. Design the letterheads, compliment slips, tickets etc.
3. Hire management, booking staff, mechanics, trainers, cleaners, pilots, tyre kickers, and a cook for the canteen!
4. Choose our headquarters (which may be an entirely new building).
5. Beg with the Bank Manager.
6. Arrange insurance.

7. Redesign the website to integrate with our new VA.
8. Decide on our routes.
9. Set a ticket pricing structure.
10. Purchase our aircraft and apply our own liveries/repaints.
11. Launch the business.

and a multitude of other things too numerous to mention.

Regarding point ’10′ above: We have had sufficient funds to purchase our aircraft and we have customised them to our needs.  Their base coat is being applied ready to take the new logo, right now, by our single maintenence guy who hasn’t even got a contract. He doesn’t know it yet, but he is working for free.

I will update you on progess when I have some news.

Cheers

Tim W

1. Pilot Rules

1.1  You must follow the European Aviation Safety Agency and Joint Aviation Authority regulations.
1.2  Flights must be undertaken on the FSXEU Multiplayer Server unless technical difficulties
prevent that.
1.3  You must follow all existing rules on FSXEU.COM.
1.4  You must use the software kACARS to submit a pilot report unless you are dual piloting (see section 3).
1.5  You must use the ATC service if available on your selected flight route or use UNICOM 122.80 to give traffic information.
1.6  We will not accept any pilot report that does not include a valid kACARS log unless you are dual piloting (see section 3).
1.7  Anyone not flying with Euphoria Wings for three months will be removed automatically by our systems.
1.8  Data related to inactive pilots is not retained on our systems.
1.9  Pilots need not fly to the schedule times as we are aware that you will may be in a different timezone.
1.10  You should ensure all sensitive information relating to the operation of the Company remains secure. Do not give out your passwords to anyone.
1.11  You MUST use the correct aircraft (equipment) as shown in the flight schedules. Your PIREP will be refused if you are not in the correct aircraft.
1.12  When landing, your landing rate must be less than 600fpm. Any PIREP with a landing rate steeper than this will be rejected and your payment will be withheld.
1.13  You CANNOT fly an aircraft the Company does not own. Our 'Airline Operators Insurance Policy' does not allow this.
1.14  Your callsign is EuphoriaXXXX, where 'XXXX' is the last four digits of your pilot ID.  Set your TAIL NUMBER accordingly.
1.15  You MUST file a flight plan to ensure ATCs know where best to set up to provide their service.
1.16  You must not add fuel while in flight.  You must land at an airport to take on extra fuel.
1.17  For security reasons, pilots are not allowed to invite passengers into the cockpit whilst in flight.
1.18  PIREPs that have more than one stall during flight which is not corrected within one minute will not be accepted.  Our passengers complain...
1.29  Reports that show too many overspeeds will be rejected.  A good landing, however, may sway our decision.
1.20  PIREPs that indicate you have slewed or spawned your aircraft mid flight will be rejected.
1.21  Pilots who have not flown for 20 days will be marked as inactive.  Simply file a PIREP and you will be marked as 'Active' again.
1.22  It is the pilots responsibility to decide if a particular flight is possible, taking into account fuel reserve and weather conditions.

2.  Behaviour

2.1  You must wear the approved Euphoria Wings uniform when on duty.
2.2  You must be polite, considerate and courteous at all times when dealing with members of the public.
2.3  You must respect all staff.
2.4  The Company will not tolerate racist behaviour.
2.5  The Company is an Equal Opportunities Employer. Please respect that and act accordingly.

3. Dual Piloting

3.1  Pilots are allowed to fly with a Second In Command.
3.2  If a pilot flies with a Second In Command in multiplayer, they must submit with their report a comment to prove the Second In Command was on the flight.
3.3  The Second In Command should file a PIREP manually within 20 minutes of the Pilot in Commands' submission.
3.4  IMPORTANT:  Your second in command must have the appropriate rank to fly the aircraft chosen or he will not be able to file his PIREP correctly.
