Those who charge usury are in the same position as those controlled by the devil's influence.

Usury (/'juʒ(ə)ɹi/,comes from the Medieval Latin usuria, "interest" or "excessive interest", from the Latin usura "interest") was defined originally as charging a fee for the use of money. This usually meant paying interest on loans, although charging a fee for changing money (as at a bureau de change) was also included in the original meaning. After moderate-interest loans were made more easily available, usury gradually became an accepted part of the business world in the early modern age. Today, the word has changed its meaning to come to refer to the charging of unreasonable or relatively high rates of interest.

Prieš dvi-tris dienas buvau konferencijoje-seminare, kur buvo siūloma įsikurti lietuviams beprocentinį banką-kreditouniją. Ilgai priešinausi - tai neįmanoma, nes pinigų vertė savaime mažėja - bent infliacijos nuostolį susigrąžinti, o dar aptarnavimo išlaidos. Nebent turint paskolinamų pinigų dauginimosi efektą, bet jei be procentų - ir tas efektas neveiks. Na , betgi yra geriau išmanančių - bankininkystės specialistų - kurie sako: veiks.
Zenonas sako: pinigai pinga!
