Vatican's Lucifer

Liuciferis – (lot. lucifer 'šviesos nešėjas, davėjas': lux 'šviesa' + ferre 'nešti') – oro ir Rytų valdovas. Romėnų mitologijoje – Aušrinė žvaigždė (Veneros planeta). Liuciferis niekada nebuvo minimas kaip Šėtono vardas iki Džono Miltono (16081674 m.)[reikalingas šaltinis], bet IV a. egzistavo krikščioniška sekta, kurios nariai buvo vadinami liuciferonais.
Liuciferio atitikmuo graikų mitologijoje – titanas Prometėjas. Liuciferiu taip pat buvo vadinama Veneros planeta.

Senasis Testamentas
Izaijo knyga 14:12 "Kaip tu iškritai iš dangaus, Liuciferi (Lotynų kalba Liuciferis), ryto aušros sūnau? Kaip tu kritai žemėn, kuris buvai pamynęs tautas? "

Naujasis Testamentas

What makes Lucifer the archetypal character of evil in the Bible? Why is the anti-christ the antithesis of Jesus Christ the Savior? This duality of good and evil is one of the central themes of scripture and life itself. May this collection of Bible verses enlighten why Lucifer is considered the primary symbol of evil.

John 8:44

44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Jude 1:6

6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

Revelation 20:10

10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Romans 16:20

20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Ezekiel 28:16-17

16 Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. 17 Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.

Revelation 12:7-9

7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Luke 10:18-20

18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Isaiah 14:12-15

12 How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! 13 You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. 14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” 15 But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.

Revelation 13

The Beast out of the Sea

1 The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. 2 The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. 4 People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?” 5 The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. 7 It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear. 10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.”This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

The Beast out of the Earth

11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

** Aušrinė (Aušros deivė, Dangaus deivė, Rytmetėlė, Rytmetinė žvaigždė) lietuvių mitologijoje – Aušrinės žvaigždės (Veneros) deivė, kuri buvo laikoma nepaprasto grožio mergele. Senovės lietuviai Aušrinę siejo su grožiu, jaunyste, sveikata.[1]
Aušra pirmoji apšviečia dangų, išsklaido tamsą. Pagal rytinę ir vakarinę žvaigždes ūkininkai pradėdavo ir baigdavo darbus.

Aušrinė tautosakoje susijusi su Saule, uždega jai rytais šviesą. Laikoma Saulės dukra.[2] Aušrinė ir jos sesuo Vakarinė vaizduojamos mergelėmis. Aušrinė kartu su Vakarine patarnaudavo Saulei ir jos vyrui Mėnuliui: Aušrinė kūrė ugnį, nešė vandenį, virė sriubą, rytais nušviesdavo Saulei kelią, Vakarinė klojo Saulei patalą.[3] Toks siužetas užfiksuotas Liudviko Rėzos užrašytoje dainoje:

Miela Saulyte, Dievo dukryte,
Kas rytais vakarėliais
Prakūrė tau ugnelę?
Tau klojo patalėlį?
Aušrinė, Vakarinė:
Aušrinė ugnį prakūrė,
Vakarinė
patalą klojo…
